Our room represents a 1920's immigrant's home. It features a kitchen and living room, Of course, pasties are being made and the saffron nubbies are already baked. The table is set for enjoying a pasty and cup of tea with our nubbie.
The living room is highlighted with a marblized slate fireplace mantel which holds a pair of Staffordshire dogs - a treasure of many Cornish families in the new country. A sewing machine is open for the lady of the house to complete her dressmaking.
Several period dresses are on display.
